gnuPSF-evo (gnu Parafoil Simple Face Evo) is an evolution of the experimental rectangular single skin paraglider GNU19. The concept GNU19
flies, but the instability of the front corners of the wing does not
allow a regular use, different from the experimental one. That
is why the constructor of GNU19, after performing different experiments
and modifications, proposes to eliminate some of the external panels
and replace them with others with curved shapes.
Laxman Rawat from India, modified the scale of the GNU-PSF-evo
paraglider, to make a "kite" version of 10 m2. Linear scale factor to
convert size 19 to 10: K=0.7 This project shows that it is relatively
easy to change the scale of any wing just by applying a linear scale
factor to the planes (and a bit of CAD work). Read more about scale changes. It also demonstrates the viability of the gnuPSF-evo project. Because a larger wing would be suitable for flying.
